Bought as a gift for my 15-year-old who is in boarding school way up north and otherwise would probably have worn sneakers in the snow all winter. He would not be caught dead in real snow boots. Was well advised by another young person that this is "the" classic boot the kids wear. 15-year-old was THRILLED when he opened it on Christmas.

They run a bit large but they are quite durable. Still have then up to this date.

I have used Timberland Pro boots previously and they fit well as well as durable. I like the new pair because it is both waterproof and insulated. I use these only during winter.
